Fabulous Mountain Cabin Getaway

“Beautiful historic cabin up on the mountain. The owner (Steve), met us and escorted us to the cabin which was nice since the road is a little daunting, if afraid of heights. Steve was very welcoming, attentive to details, and responsive. Very clean cabin that had any amenities you might need. Such a welcoming property and owner. Felt like home away from home! Deer walked right up the driveway and around the house while we were outside enjoying one of the fire pits. Photos do not capture the beauty of this amazing place!”

Beautiful Memories

“Our experience renting this property was nothing short of amazing! The owners blew us away with how welcoming and responsive they were to creating a memorable and stress free vacation from the very first step on the property! They escorted us to their property as it may be a little tricky to find. They baked us fresh banana bread to enjoy our first night there. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the fire pits. Most days we saw deer on the property passing thru or nibbling on the grass. Pictures of the cabin don’t do it justice! So much more beautiful in person!”

Amazing Stay!

“We stayed four days in this quaint cabin. Steve was helpful and available if we needed him. The views were beautiful. The patio was our favorite place to relax and watch the hummingbirds. If we go back to Colorado Springs, we would love to stay here again.”

Outstanding and Remarkable!

“Our host met us at the point where we started to drive up to the cabin. At first, driving up the gravel road Old Stage Road, we couldn’t believe the views, and our host even stopped to point out all the landmarks and scenic vistas, and we were blown away! The beauty of the setting and cabin is like a fairy tale. It almost didn’t seem real at first. The first day we saw two wild turkeys, deer, hummingbirds, chipmunks, etc. The cabin is spacious and close to local trails and all the attractions around Colorado Springs. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.”

Best View in Colorado!!!

“I can’t say enough about how special this property is! You will drive one of the most scenic drives to arrive at this gem and once you arrive, it will not disappoint!! It’s restored in the ways that matter with all of the historical beauty intact. Interior decorating so special, beds very comfortable and owner so accommodating and gave us a proper insightful escort our first trip up the mountain. We had amazing bonfires, stunning hikes, and enjoyed deer, turkey, and humming birds to greet us every morning. We all felt a little sad departing this property, really hope to enjoy it again one day. Thanks for the best vacation Steve!!!

Awesome New Experience

“Steve, we really enjoyed the cabin. You did a great job of updating and decorating. We felt very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed every little detail. Blanca did a fantastic job of having the cabin ready for us, and in showing us around. Hopefully we left the cabin in good shape for her that she didn’t have too much to do. We probably should’ve taken notes for the security system. If there is anything I’d recommend for the next guests, it would be to put the security procedures document in the binder with the other information, rules of the house. We did make a fire in the pit on the porch last night and had a hard time finding something to start the fire. Unfortunately, it rained the two previous nights, so the wood was wet and anything normally used for kindling was wet too. I suppose having something in the cabin or a storage cabinet to use for fire starting, would be great. Luckily I had a notebook with me and used the paper to start the fire. I really hate pointing out anything wrong, as it truly was a remarkable experience. We lived in the Springs for 2.5 years in the late nineties and loved it then, and love coming back as much as we can, without robbing us of new experiences. I have to say, your cabin was an awesome new experience and we look forward to returning. We want to share with everyone we know. Thank you for sharing Twin Pines Cabin with us.”

Amazing Cozy Cabin in the Mountains

What an awesome experience! We loved this cabin! The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It was extremley clean, comfortable in every way, and had everything we could have needed. This cozy cabin is far enough away from any of the main roads that we had real feeling of peace. The views on the drive up to the cabin are stunning, you see the Broadmoor Hotel, and the town below as well as the mountains and lake. Right outside of the cabin was a wonderful deck where we enjoyed the wildlife, crisp mountain air, and built a fires in the evenings. We loved the cabin feel and we slept so well. The cabin itself was amazing, the decorating touches were great! We loved watching the sunrise through the trees and the mountains in the distance, enjoyed building fires in the fire pits outside and roasting marshmallows, to hiking over the bridge and around the property.:) It was stocked with everything we needed from kitchen accessories, spices, to plenty of towels and even things we didn’t know we needed, as well as amazing banana bread to welcome us. Not to mention, it has a cute wishing well, where we tossed our coin and made a wish on our way out! Steve is an A+ host who was communicative, accommodating and made sure our entire experience was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
