Awesome New Experience
“Steve, we really enjoyed the cabin. You did a great job of updating and decorating. We felt very comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed every little detail. Blanca did a fantastic job of having the cabin ready for us, and in showing us around. Hopefully we left the cabin in good shape for her that she didn’t have too much to do. We probably should’ve taken notes for the security system. If there is anything I’d recommend for the next guests, it would be to put the security procedures document in the binder with the other information, rules of the house. We did make a fire in the pit on the porch last night and had a hard time finding something to start the fire. Unfortunately, it rained the two previous nights, so the wood was wet and anything normally used for kindling was wet too. I suppose having something in the cabin or a storage cabinet to use for fire starting, would be great. Luckily I had a notebook with me and used the paper to start the fire. I really hate pointing out anything wrong, as it truly was a remarkable experience. We lived in the Springs for 2.5 years in the late nineties and loved it then, and love coming back as much as we can, without robbing us of new experiences. I have to say, your cabin was an awesome new experience and we look forward to returning. We want to share with everyone we know. Thank you for sharing Twin Pines Cabin with us.”

Amazing Cozy Cabin in the Mountains
What an awesome experience! We loved this cabin! The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It was extremley clean, comfortable in every way, and had everything we could have needed. This cozy cabin is far enough away from any of the main roads that we had real feeling of peace. The views on the drive up to the cabin are stunning, you see the Broadmoor Hotel, and the town below as well as the mountains and lake. Right outside of the cabin was a wonderful deck where we enjoyed the wildlife, crisp mountain air, and built a fires in the evenings. We loved the cabin feel and we slept so well. The cabin itself was amazing, the decorating touches were great! We loved watching the sunrise through the trees and the mountains in the distance, enjoyed building fires in the fire pits outside and roasting marshmallows, to hiking over the bridge and around the property.:) It was stocked with everything we needed from kitchen accessories, spices, to plenty of towels and even things we didn’t know we needed, as well as amazing banana bread to welcome us. Not to mention, it has a cute wishing well, where we tossed our coin and made a wish on our way out! Steve is an A+ host who was communicative, accommodating and made sure our entire experience was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

God’s Country
Remote but still close to all must sees. The property was meticulous and unbelievably decorated. Most important ,the mattresses were very comfortable. Lastly, Steve the owner was always easy to contact.

Lives up to its Name!
Everything about this cabin lived up to its description, from the moment you pull up and step inside! There is nothing better than to be surrounded by the pines in such a cozy well appointed cabin, and to know that you are staying in a place of Cheyenne history. Steve and Maritza take great pride in this property and it shows in its attention to details and the care they go to make you feel welcome. This was such a special place to stay! Thank you so much.

Wonderful Private Getaway
We spent four nights in August at the cabin and had a great time. Everything was as described and communication with the owner was excellent. We definitely recommend this property if you’re looking for a quiet cabin in the mountains.

A Trip in Time
Everything about this beautiful cabin and surroundings took us back to a simpler, more relaxing time in life. The decor was so thoughtful and symbolic, and the surrounding landscape, paths and bridges so well thought out, we could not have asked for a more perfect home base for the Monument Springs wedding we were there to attend.

The perfect getaway!
We loved staying at this cabin. It offered the best of both worlds – away from the noise of the city but also close enough to take advantage of all the activities/sights around Colorado Springs. Steve was a great host and available for questions at all times. The cabin had all the amenities and was very clean and comfortable. This was the ultimate “unplug” trip for our family. Our children (6 & 9yo) loved exploring the property grounds and the adults enjoyed early morning yoga on the bridge by the creek listening to the birds chirping. We also loved visiting the nearby zoo and feeding the elephants and giraffes, hiking the different trails of Cheyenne mountain, Garden of the Gods, zip-lining at and cave-exploring Cave of the Winds, and enjoying the shops and restaurants of downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. The best part of every day was driving up the mountain and retreating for the late afternoon and evening at the cabin and enjoying the surrounding quietness by the fire and all the wildlife (one bear, wild turkeys, lots of hummingbirds, baby and mama deer, chipmunks and bunnies). We can’t wait to come back!

A Magical Retreat!
This summer, my husband and I along with our 2 daughters (14 & 12) had the opportunity to spend 3 nights in Twin Pines cabin. It was truly magical! Even better than the photos. My husband most loved sitting by the fire on the patio listening to nature, watching the hummingbirds and the deer. For me, it was heavenly to wake up early and enjoy my book and a coffee in the cozy family room while the house was quiet. My daughters most loved the drive up the mountain to the cabin as well as the horseback riding stable about 2 miles up the mountain from the cabin. Steve was a wonderful host! Hopefully one day we can return for another stay!

Cozy Cabin
We had a great time during our stay at Twin Pines! Steve was a great host and available to any questions (although he gave excellent tips before our stay). The cabin had all the amenities and supplies needed. Our morning coffee on the deck was just what we needed with the added bonus of watching a deer and her fawn walk through the property. Definitely a great place to stay!

Beautiful Remote Historic Cabin
We loved staying in this picturesque cabin that was comfortable and provided modern conveniences. Hiking trails nearby were easy yet provided scenic views with no one else around. It’s remote in some ways yet it’s easy to get back to town for other adventures. The owner communicated with us before we arrived making sure we could find the cabin. And the property manager greeted us and made sure we knew where everything was located. The owner also worked with us when we had a couple of issues. All in all a very special place.

Beautiful Cabin
It really was as charming, enchanting, and beautiful as this place is described I couldn’t have asked for more or better it was just perfect, makes you not want to ever leave! Waking up to stunning views the sound of the trees and the birds, We felt like we were in paradise. Sitting in the patio with our kids and a fire was my most favorite most memorable part of our stay Steve was also great, he made sure we were well accommodated. If there is one place I would want to get away this is defiantly the place. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful cabin.
